Profile

With a one-on-one, individualized approach, Centria Autism has helped children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential since 2010.

Centria is the nation’s leader in Autism therapy and support. Centria provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, a proven, evidence-based therapy in which behavior modifications are consistently applied and rewarded to make a meaningful change in overall behavior.

In December 2018, TMV Group helped Centria Autism launch its “Do Wonders” campaign, which highlights how the health care provider helps a child with autism achieve milestones and see an improvement in overall development.

The healthcare company’s mission is to help every child living with autism to develop, pursue and achieve their own goals and dreams through high-quality ABA therapy and support.

ABA Therapy is the most effective treatment for children on the autism spectrum, and it has shown to lead to substantial improvements in the life of a child with autism.

Some signs of autism include impaired communication skills, impaired social communication skills, repetitive or restricted behaviors and other behaviors such as problems sleeping, sensory issues and extreme tantrums. If a parent suspects his or her child has autism, the child should be screened and properly diagnosed by a physician. Take a development screening test through the M-CHAT.

Upon diagnosis, Centria Autism will assemble a therapy team consisting of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, a Behavior Technician and a Client Service Manager, around each individual child

This therapy team works together with families to build and apply programs that help each child successfully navigate everyday tasks, from brushing their teeth to sitting through a meal.

The therapy team will work closely with parents to make sure that they provide the appropriate treatment plan to help gain the life skills that the child needs to reach their full potential and live in the world, on their own terms.

During ABA Therapy, skills are broken down into small, easy-to-learn steps. Positive reinforcement is used to motivate the child and data is continuously collected to measure the child’s progress and modify their personalized treatment plan.
