The shop 2nd & Charles buys and sells quality new and used CDs, books, video games, movies and plenty of geek-culture products – and it’s launching a second Michigan spot.
A Utica store officially opens shop Aug. 6, joining its sister store in Auburn Hills. They’re among the chain’s 30 nationwide locales. This newcomer features a first: ChuckStop, an on-site coffee shop that offers hot and cold beverages, whole-bean coffee, full-leaf teas, pastries, snacks, kid-friendly drinks and more.
Younger kids will love the toys and plushies sold here, while older kids may enjoy the old-school video games or superhero merch. And the variety of books, music and movies has something for the entire family.
“There are plenty of items that kids will love that range from Star Wars memorabilia to Disney’s beloved Frozen to rare editions of children’s classics and fairy tales,” says Scott Kappler, marketing vice president.
