Gateway Pediatric Therapy, with two convenient locations in metro Detroit, is here to not only meet, but exceed our clients’ pediatric and developmental goals. With over 6,000 square feet of fully customized treatment space, and an expertly trained staff of over 40 Board Certified Behavior Analysts, ABA therapists, and administrative personnel, Gateway is the premier center for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD’s) and related developmental disabilities.
ABA is a science, a way of thinking, and an approach to problem solving and skill development. Consistent application of ABA therapy has helped our clients acquire a variety of new skills, including academic, self- help, daily living skills, language development, and play and social skills. ABA therapy, as provided by a licensed BCBA therapist, is considered the single greatest means by which an individual can overcome the challenges of an autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
At Gateway Pediatric Therapy, we utilize the fundamental principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in order to develop language, social, academic, and daily living skills in children ages 0–18 with autism and related conditions. We offer best in class assessment, treatment, and intervention services, which are conducted either at our incredible clinics or in the convenience of your home. Using evidence-based ABA therapy as the foundation of our therapeutic philosophy, the team at Gateway is single minded in its commitment to providing quality care at the highest possible level.
“The therapists at Gateway have worked wonders with my children, specifically my son. When he arrived he could barely muster more than a few words at a time, but now he speaks in complete sentences and is performing better in school than we could have ever hoped for. In many ways, my son’s therapists have become part of our family. I don’t even know how we could’ve done it without Gateway Pediatric Therapy.” — Laurene M.
“Gateway has helped us tremendously with our son. It used to take my husband and I both to hold our son down to get his haircut, he refused to sit in a restaurant, and dinner time was a nightmare for us. Our therapist was able to quickly provide reasonable and practical solutions and strategies we were able to incorporate as to how we responded (or not responded) to his behavior. We now eat dinner in peace at home and in restaurants and I am comfortable taking him to get a haircut on my own. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and really listen to parent concerns. We highly recommend Gateway Pediatric Therapy.” — Susan T.
