Kids in costumes and treats galore – it’s all part of the silly-not-scary Orchard Mall Monster Mash Halloween party! This West Bloomfield tradition is fun for children from tots to tweens. The fantastically fun boo-ha-ha most was most recently held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019. Hundreds of kids and their families joined us for the frighteningly fun festivities.
Monster Mash is a Family Smash
Here’s a taste of some of the fun activities held for kids at the most recent event:
- The Monster Mash Dance Party
- Darth Villain and Jedi Master characters for kids who love Star Wars
- Creatures of the Night Live Animal Show
- Future Ford Owners Club’s Virtual Reality Zone
- Trick-or-treating at 10 total stations filled with classic candy and unique goodies
- Ghostbusters Detroit
- The three Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus, courtesy of the local Goblin King Players shadowcast troupe
- Halloween make-and-take crafts
- Feed the Monster beanbag toss with a chance to win prizes
- Vampire Bat Dental Clinic/Tooth Fairy visit
- A “Thriller” flash mob
- The costume contest
- Doughnuts and apple juice
