Meet Saahil, Metro Parent March 2013 CoverKid – VIDEO

Here. There. Everywhere! That sums up Saahil – better known to Metro Parent readers as the adorable 5-year-old tyke holding hands (or, more accurately, tentacles) with a make-believe creature for our March 2013 cover story on Imaginary Friends. We took a little time-out with southeast Michigan kid Saahil to get some of his thoughts about life as kindergartener.

Check out the behind-the-scenes Q&A in our video, just below. Find out what Saahil does for fun (spoiler alert: Power Rangers!) – and check out his ridiculously cute stint as tour guide of the photo-shoot location, Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, where he points out a cactus, a “statue” and some orange UHO (unidentified hanging object) dangling from a tree:

Interested in your kid being on the cover of Metro Parent magazine? Check out the Metro Parent CoverKids page! You’ll learn all about how you can submit your kid’s photo online for a shot at one of 10 top spots. Natural self-confidence, poise and personality are what it takes (as you can see with Saahil!). We hope you’ll get your kids involved with the next CoverKids. You never know: The might wind up in the spotlight, too.
