Metro Parent's December 2013 Cover Shoot Outtakes

'Tis the season for family, friends, fun and of course, presents. In honor of the holidays, we here at Metro Parent have rounded up some awesome gifts for kids of all ages in our annual Holiday "It" List gift guide, which has a bit of a S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) theme running through the toys in 2013.

The December issue also features information on a new study that found that firstborns tend to be smarter. We've also uncovered some cool baby apps and tech devices – plus some ways to tame your teen's attitude.

CoverKids – and twins! – Matthew and Caleb, age 4, of Dearborn, donned their holiday pajamas for this month's cover. Flip through these outtakes from the cover shoot, and be sure to watch the Q&A video with local CoverKids Matthew and Caleb, too.
