Here, Metro Parent asked this Troy dad to answer a few questions about the special bond he shares with his daughter – just in time for Father’s Day. Read on for more.

How did you feel when you found out you were having a daughter – scared, excited or both?

“Excited.”

What makes your bond with your daughter so special?

“We have a thing where she says, “MY Daddy” and I respond, “MY Daughter.”

What has surprised you about having a daughter?

“How fast she grows.”


What has not surprised you about having a daughter?

“That she’s great at being a big sis.”

How do you spend time with your daughter?

“Go to the park and run.”

What do you want most for your daughter when she grows up?

“For her to be happy and secure.”
