My Mantra: Share The Little Phrase That Gets You Through

Is there a phrase that gets you through the long and stressful days? Share your mantra with us for a chance to be featured in our magazine and a shot at a $50 Amazon gift card.

Parents are the heart and soul of what we do. That’s why we want to feature more local moms and dads in the coming year in the pages of the magazine, on our social media accounts and at MetroParent.com.

We have a special feature planned that will help us do that — and we think local parents will really have fun with it. We’re calling it My Mantra. We’ll be highlighting some really great mantras — those little phrases many of us use through the day. The moms (and dads) who submit the selected mantra will be featured on our social media and website sharing the story, in video or audio, behind why the mantra means so much to them and how it’s helped them as moms. Think of it as a little moment in the spotlight that will also help other moms.

In addition, published mantras, selected by our editors, will net the mom a $50 Amazon gift card.

To be considered, moms must live in Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor. To enter, send an email to editor@metroparent.com, tell us your mantra and why it matters to you.

Want to see some of the mantras that we’ve featured so far? Check out the Parenting Mantras page at MetroParent.com.
