Spring Break Camps for Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor Kids

Looking to keep your kiddos occupied during their break from school? Try these camps in southeast Michigan.

If you’re planning on staying home for spring break, but still want your kids to have a good time, then check out these camps in metro Detroit and Ann Arbor.

Every child has different hobbies and interests, so you can find a camp that best fits them personally. You must register ahead of time for the spring break camps. Since they’re filling up fast, make sure to do it as soon as possible! 

2023 Spring Break Camps at Leslie Science & Nature Center

March 27-31, 2023

These camps are for grades K-5. Register for each day separately. The theme for March 27 is Pollinator Party, March 28 is Solar Power, March 29 is Food Web Frenzy, March 30 is Bird Bonanza and March 31 is Flight! 

Camp Clay: Ages 6-9 at the Hawk Community Center

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 6-9 will make tiles, pinch pots and more along with learning the fundamentals of ceramics. Campers will be notified once their work is ready for pickup after it gets fired in the kilns.  

Camp Creative: Ages 10-12 at the Hawk Community Center

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 10-12 will explore many different themes, projects and media, including printmaking, drawing, painting, college, sculpture and more.

Coerver Spring Break Camp at The New Rink

March 27-31, 2023 or April 3-6, 2023

Boys and girls ages 7-14 can enjoy a soccer camp, which features 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 activities, ball mastery reps, dribbling skills, passing and receiving and more.

Spring Break Camp at Carousel Acres

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 4-12 can enjoy this spring break camp on the farm with all the animals. A snack will be provided.

Spring Break Camp at Detroit City Fieldhouse

March 27-31, 2023

Boys and girls ages 8-14 can come out to DCF for small-sided games and technical skills. Space is limited so make sure you register fast!

Spring Break Camp at Franklin Athletic Club

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 3-12 can come out to the Franklin Athletic Club for a week of games, activities, crafts, swimming and more. Pizza lunch is available for $6 extra. Extended care and payment plans are available.

Spring Break Multi-Sport Camp

March 27-31, 2023

For ages 6-10. You can choose to go the whole week or one to four days a week. Kids will play basketball and soccer and learn the rules and essential skills of each sport.

Spring Survival Camp at Heritage Park

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 6-12 will explore different nature activities, trips to the Nature Center, outdoor games and more at this spring break camp.

S.T.E.A.M. Break Camp at MSU Tollgate Farm and Education Center

March 27-31, 2023

Ages 6-12 can explore Tollgate barn, fields, pastures and forest at this spring break camp. There will be daily themes including helping with morning animal chores, afternoon hikes in the woods, harvesting early season produce, hatching chicks and new baby lambs. Kids will experience hands-on fun in a STEAM way.
