Anyone who has witnessed a toddler throwing a fit knows just how destructive he or she can be. They’ll storm around, stomping and kicking – sometimes throwing themselves on the floor in a fit of tears and screams.
For one dad, his daughter Patricia’s tantrums served as inspiration (and reminded him of a certain destructive monster). The camera-savvy William Zilliox made a video titled Godzilly: King of the Daughters, in which Patricia plays the giant lizard “Godzilly” stomping through a cardboard Tokyo, TODAY.com reports.
“I had witnessed my daughter having a tirade in the living room, and I pictured it all in slow-motion and wrote it down,” he tells TODAY.com.
The description on the YouTube video reads, “Godzilly missed nap time and now there is big trouble in little Tokyo! Hope you guys enjoy it!” In this super creative vid, Godzilly is destroying the tiny city, battling soldiers, tanks and helicopters. In swoops Mothradog, the adorable pup turned moth, to face Godzilly. See how it plays out:
I love it! I bet the family made some really fun memories while filming this imaginative video, and I think Patricia will probably enjoy watching it when she’s older, too. It’s awesome that dad can make light of this typical toddler behavior.
Now, next time your tot has a temper tantrum, see if you can rival this vid at your own home! We’d love to see ’em.
