Tim Hortons Serves Mom-Sized Coffee for Mother’s Day

The coffee and doughnut shop introduced its 52-ounce iced coffee drink just in time for Mother's Day 2019. We're ready to grab our own – and a pack of Timbits.

Raising children is exhausting. Studies find that moms are sleep deprived for the first six years after our kids are born, so it’s no surprise that we use coffee as the fuel to survive the long days and even longer nights.

The folks at Tim Hortons realized our struggles (and dependence on caffeine) and introduced a mom-sized iced coffee – just in time for Mother’s Day 2019.

This 52-ounce iced-coffee cup holds almost as much as one of Tim Horton’s coffee pots, and it’s the largest iced coffee cup that’s offered at any major coffee chain in the United States, according to a press release from Business Wire.

On Mother’s Day, moms can visit their local Tim Horton’s to snag a cup – on a first-come, first-served basis. All you have to do is stop by participating locations and let them know you want the “mom-sized” coffee.

Detroit is among the participating cities that will offer this giant sweet and creamy concoction for free. Check with your nearby Tim Horton’s to find out if they are part of this Mother’s Day promotion.

I can’t lie – I might add this to the list of things I actually want for Mother’s Day (you can read about all the things I don’t want here). I would love to get my hands on one of these – mainly to see the size of it in person. Yes, the photo gives you a hint, but seriously I need this in my hand on Sunday, May 12.

What do you think of this mom-sized iced coffee? Do you want one for Mother’s Day? Tell us in comments.
