The Teen Scene: 10 Places in Southeast Michigan Where Teens Want to Hang Out

Tired of watching your kids waste time on their tech? Get them out of the house and let them hang with their friends at one of these local fun spots.

Long gone are the days where the teens would just go to the movies or hang out at the mall — and with so many fun and interesting hangout options in the community, staying home is no longer the answer.

Tell your teens to grab their skates — or imaginations — and let them hang out with their friends at some of these cool places around town.

Bonaventure

If you are looking for an active adventure, this is just the place because Bonaventure is perfect for ALL ages! They have a DJ playing whilst skaters trail around the floor to the most popular tunes.

When you get tired you can head over to the PlayZone, which is an indoor, soft-play escape to roam around on the structures. There are also multiple arcade and hangout areas where teens can sit back and relax — not to mention mingle with their friends. Roll up to Bonaventure and skate through a night of fun, friends, and festivities!

C.J. Barrymore’s

CJ Barrymore’s brings all the thrill and the chill to the entertrainment game. The indoor and outdoor parks are loaded with attractions that you simply cannot find anywhere else including XD Dark Ride, A Drop Tower, Batting Cages, Bungys, Indy Tracks and more.

On the colder days you can settle inside and enjoy a game of either regular or mini bowling, or challenge your friends to a game of bumper cars or laser tag to bring out your competitive side.

If that’s not enough, you can go during the warmer season where water activities like bumper boats are up and running.

Knockerball Michigan

Ever wondered what life would look like upside down, or even from inside a bubble? Then bubble soccer is a must!

Put on a bubble ball and roll around, knocking and competing with friends as you all have the goal to score in mind. This place is the perfect, organized party place that has eight active events to choose from or, book a time to come with your group. Bounce, fly, and let your fun-meter reach sky high as you play the trendy bubble soccer.
