Shows to Watch with Tweens and Teens

Baby Sitters Club

The Babysitter’s Club is a story about a group of friends who decide to turn babysitting into a growing business. With some characters trying to bring down their gig, they face a few sticky situations together. This Netflix series, based on the best-selling book series, is one parents will love to watch with their older kids. 

Series of Unfortunate Events

  • Where to watch: Netflix

Based on the hit book series, this movie brings together some of the most-loved elements to the big screen. It all starts with Lemony Snicket who looks after three orphaned children whose lives are filled with unfortunate events. While finding their way, these children encounter some of the most unique situations and people. The Netflix original show provides a great illustration to the fun and adventurous books that children love.

What If…?

  • Where to watch: Disney+

Marvel fans have so many movies and shows on Disney+ to watch their favorite superheroes. What If…? brings new scenarios in the mix with an animated series that explores alternate realities in the Marvel world.

Prom

The Parent Trap

Two girls, one mission. When trying to patch their family back together, these twins do everything in their power to make ends meet including swapping identities, creating a few white lies and even changing locations. Young Lindsay Lohan as the star makes this movie an all-star choice and a great throw on for a night in.

Matilda

From a young age, character Matilda always had a love for life, but not so much for her unpleasant parents. She finds her way through several sticky situations but her love for learning, and a little magic, propels her way through. The funny yet heartwarming film will leave you satisfied with your movie choice!

To All the Boys I’ve Before

  • Where to watch: Netflix

This Netflix movie trilogy is all the rage with fans. With three different movies now released, this series is a must-watch. Lana is mortified when her love letters are released to the boys she once used to call her “crushes.” Handling this madness, and dealing with social issues along the way, are entertaining experiences that the viewer is in for. When what was once private becomes public, the matters are in her hands to create a life to fix it.
