Watch Detroit Youth Choir’s Story of Harmony and Hope on Disney+

The new documentary series, Choir, follows the kids in the Detroit Youth Choir.

You’ve probably seen them on America’s Got Talent, at the Detroit Institute of Arts Film Theatre or performing at the Detroit Lions halftime show at Ford Field. Now, you can see them from the comfort of your own home.

Choir, a six-part documentary series is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024. It will allow viewers to see the world through the eyes of the kids on Detroit Youth Choir – balancing family life, schoolwork and athletics – while making their dreams come true and perform at Carnegie Hall.

The Detroit Youth Choir is made up of kids ages 8-18 in Detroit. It’s a non-profit arts organization that helps them develop their talents of singing, dancing and theatre. They hold auditions each year if you have a child that is looking to get involved in the group.
