Chocolate ‘Scat’ Cookies Recipe

Sometimes, nature calls – literally. If peeping animal droppings while you’re out camping in the woods isn’t your family’s thing, though, try whipping up a batch of these icky goodies, concocted by mom-son team Hilary and Alex Heminway in the book Picnics, published by Gibbs Smith.

Three simple ingredients are all it takes: Unsweetened chocolate, sweetened condensed milk and whole pecans (or any other tasty and, um, lumpy item that adds to that freshly dropped look). Grossed out – yet intrigued? Well, then, check out the Scat Cookies recipe and get the scoop!
