Ghoulish Halloween Drinks for Kids

Let the little monsters at your house craft their own creepy drinks with these fun recipes for ghoulish drinks. For something easy, make tummy-turning ice cubes by following the directions for worm ice. Or, have a mysterious hand in the punch bowl using the recipe for ghoul punch. Your kids will think twice before drinking the ghostly guzzle or the ghoulish punch (it’s green!). For drinks for smaller children, you might want to try the candy corn smoothies or the ghoulish monster mash mudslides. If you’re having a party, choose two or three of these recipes for your guests to add a scary flare to your Halloween buffet. Don’t forget to use clear serving glasses to show off these freaky drinks.

Worm Ice

Break out the ice cube trays! First, have your kids put a few gummy worms in each ice cube slot. Then, have your kids fill each spot with water. Freeze until solid and you have a full tray of worm ice from Martha Stewart. Use these creepy cubes in individual cups or in a pitcher.

Candy Corn Smoothies

These candy corn smoothies from Pillsbury aren’t creepy, but they make for the perfect drink for your kids’ favorite holiday. To create the candy corn look, start with coconut sorbet followed by orange and then lemon sorbet. Dig out some tall, clear glasses and you’ve got one cool Halloween drink.

Ghoulish Punch

To create these green, gooey drinks start with lime Jell-O. Once the Jell-O is dissolved into boiling water, add in cold orange juice, seltzer and ice. Add in scoops of fruit sorbet to complete the freaky look of this ghoulish punch from Kraft.

Ghoulish Monster Mash Mudslides

These ghoulish monster mash mudslides from Mrs. Happy Homemaker are cleverly disguised glasses of chocolate milk. Blend chocolate sandwich cookies into chocolate milk and fill a shake glass. Top with whipped cream and make a face with chocolate-coated candies. Boolicious!

Ghostly Guzzle

To make these frothy ghostly guzzle drinks from Parenting, you’ll need to create a simple syrup. Off heat, add in milk and yogurt and refrigerate until cold. Fill glasses with the white drink and then use a spoon to make a ghostly figure with whipped cream. Make eyes with mini chocolate chips.

Ghoul Punch

Make a hand appear to float in your punch bowl using this recipe for ghoul punch from Taste of Home. Fill a vinyl glove with water and place in the freezer. Remove the icy hand from the glove and then place in your punch bowl.
