Families learn about the famous dance company that evolved from a small studio to a worldwide touring company, thanks to Arthur Mitchell. Experience the rare memorabilia from the company's 40 years of growth with costumes, photos and choreography from the archives of The New York Public Library.
Leap, twirl, chasse – or maybe just take the car – to get to this historical exhibit today! It runs until Dec. 31, 2011. Visit the museum 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday (it's closed Monday). Kids ages 3-12 are admitted for $5; entry is $5 for seniors (ages 62-plus) and $8 for adults ages 13-61.
