Families won’t want to miss the Detroit Zoo’s 100th Anniversary celebration, packed with fun for kids and parents.
There will be polar bear crafts, games, “tattoos” and animal enrichment activities for the children. The fun continues with a scavenger hunt, prizes, treats and a visit with the Detroit Zoo’s mascots, Junior Z and Zooper Heroes.
Activities will be taking place at the Arctic Ring of Life, National Amphibian Conservation Center, Holden Museum of Living Reptile and Ford Education Center Plaza.
Stop by the zoo from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 for all the family fun. Admission to the zoo is $12 for ages 15-16, $8 for ages 2-14 and free for those under the age of 2.
