Jump Around at Westland Shopping Center’s New Massive Bounce Park

Jump into fun at FUNBOX, the world's largest bounce house park, opening this August at Westland Shopping Center.

Get ready to bounce into August with FUNBOX — the world’s largest bounce park! Metro Detroit families can enjoy their stop at Westland Shopping Center beginning Aug. 2.

In town through Sept. 15, the massive outdoor bounce park offers 25,000 square feet of connected jumping zones with 10 different play areas. Kids of all ages can enjoy the Mountain Challenge, Battle Beam, Gumball Gallop, Obstacle Course and more.

Want to see the bouncing fun for yourself? Take a look at the video below.

When I attended another big bounce park event — Big Bounce America — last year, jumping was so much fun, but it can get pretty exhausting! Make sure to bring water, snacks and sunscreen. I also recommend bringing a few extra pairs of socks to change out after the event.

Special deal! Tickets are now available for their grand opening weekend, Aug. 1-4, with a special discount available for $18. Have fun jumping around, Metro Detroit families!

  • Get your tickets in advance! FUNBOX events sell out so it’s best to order your tickets online.
  • Tickets required for everyone. Even if you don’t plan on jumping, every visitor ages 3-64 must purchase a ticket.
  • Arrive early. Each ticket counts for a 90-minute jump session. Give yourself plenty of time to park and check in.
  • Wear socks. No shoes are allowed in the inflatables, including bare feet. I recommend packing a few pairs of socks to change out later. Non-slip socks ($4) are also available for purchase.
  • Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and kids under 5 must be accompanied into the inflatables.
