Hellenic Museum of Michigan Reopens with New Exhibit

Explore artwork by artists of Greek heritage at the Hellenic Museum of Michigan's latest exhibit, The Hellenic Art Exhibition, on display through July 25, 2021.

After a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hellenic Museum of Michigan in Detroit is back with a new art display for families to enjoy.

The Hellenic Art Exhibition, which is on display through July 25, 2021, is part of the museum’s yearlong celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Greece’s independence. It features a wide variety of juried artwork by nearly 20 artists from across the United States and around the world.

In addition, the museum is also hosting a series of programming and musical performances that explore and celebrate Greek culture.

The Hellenic Museum of Michigan is open 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment and is located at 67 E. Kirby, Detroit.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests of the museum must wear face masks and practice social distancing.
