The FRIENDS Experience is Coming to Auburn Hills

As if you needed an excuse to get your kids hooked on “Friends”!

Step into the world of the popular ‘90s sitcom  “Friends” at the new interactive FRIENDS Experience, opening in Auburn Hills on June 30. Could you BE any more excited?

Quick details about The FRIENDS Experience

  • Open June 30-Sept. 24, 2023
  • Cost: $33-plus/visitors 11 and older, $27-plus/children 4-10, free/children 3 and under. 
  • Parking: Visitors can park in the Grand Lakes Crossing Outlets parking lots. 1D and 1E are the closest. Come through Entry 1 and you will be right by the experience.

The FRIENDS Experience includes set recreations and photo ops, including Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Monica and Rachel’s kitchen and Central Perk. Props, costumes and “Friends” memorabilia that will excite even die-hard fans will be on display. 

Families that want some private time to explore the space and take photos can book a Guided Tour, which grants you early access in the morning before the experience opens to the public. Additional photo packages and premium packages that include “Friends” merchandise are also available. 

The experience is open 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays; Noon-7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturdays; and 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sundays.

What to know before you go

  • General admission tickets are good for a specific time slot on the day of your choosing. Flexible tickets cost $10 more, but allow entry at any time during your chosen day. 
  • Limited standby tickets will be available at the door, so it’s best to purchase yours online ahead of time
  • Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • When finding a parking spot, try to park as close as possible to the Nordstrom Rack entrance (Entry 1). 
  • Only water bottles that can be sealed are allowed in the experience, food is not permitted. 
  • The FRIENDS Experience is fully accessible.
