Armada Fair

Ever been to a “true country fair”? Here’s your chance! A week of fun awaits you and the family at the Armada Fair from Aug. 15-21, 2011 at the Armada Fairgrounds. Monster trucks, live music and 4-H events are just some of the events this annual shindig has in store for families.

Each night, there is a different featured event – like Monday’s Bump & Run race and Saturday’s Truck & Tractor pull. Also, vendors will be selling goods on-site, barns and petting farms will help keep the kiddies entertained and, of course, no fair would be complete without carnival rides!

Event admission is $7 for adults, $2 for kids ages 9-12 and free for ages 8 and under. A $5 parking fee also applies.

Barns and petting farms open at 8 a.m. daily, while carnival rides open at noon. The fun continues until midnight, with the exception of Sunday, when things pack up at 8 p.m. See the Metro Parent listing for more on the Armada Fair.
