Summer is on its way out, but there's still tons of fun to be had in August 2019! Visit one or more of these great August fairs and festivals in metro Detroit and Ann Arbor.

The school year is creeping up really quickly, but there’s still tons of fun to be had this summer. In August, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties are packed with a variety of fairs and festivals full of games and rides, classic car shows and live entertainment for families to enjoy.

Put down the back-to-school to-do list and head out to one of these great Detroit festivals or Ann Arbor Fairs and get your last summer shindig in before school starts.

Sidewalk Festival for the Performing Arts
