Civil War Remembrance at Greenfield Village in Dearborn

Bring your children to Greenfield Village in Dearborn this Memorial Day weekend for the annual Civil War Remembrance event.

A Memorial Day celebration and an engaging history lesson rolled into one? Now that’s thinking smart, and it’s exactly what you’ll get at the Civil War Remembrance at Greenfield Village in Dearborn this Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27, 2019.

Camps, cavalry and period music will pop up all over the village as Union and Confederate re-enactors dress in period clothing and act out scenes from the Civil War.

Military tactical demonstrations, including the new six-gun cannon fire, historian insights, special presentations and hands-on activities, among others, are included in your experience.

Greenfield Village is open for this event 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday-Monday.

Tickets are $28/ages 12-61, $25.50/ages 62-plus, $21/ages 5-11 and free/kids 4 and under. Parking is $6 per vehicle.
