The Art of Fire in Royal Oak

The annual Clay, Glass and Metal Show has been rebranded as The Art of Fire and returns to downtown Royal Oak, June 8-9, 2019.

If you or your children are fans of art, the Art of Fire in Royal Oak, formerly known as the Royal Oak Clay, Glass and Metal Show, might be for you.

At this unique art fest, check out over 100 different artists, specializing in metal, glass, clay and jewelry. Head on down to Royal Oak June 8-9, 2019 to experience this award-winning event first hand.

See a wide variety of art in this variety of mediums, ranging from beautiful handmade bowls and glasses to necklaces and sculptures. Watch metal being forged, glass being turned into pendants and even tiles being pressed and decorated.

Not only can you see them and watch artists create works, including the tile pressing with Leif Sporck and glass blowing, but you can also check out fire performances by The Great Lakes Flow Festival at fourth and Washington and even create your own piece of art.

There will also be live music, food and, of course, awards given to the artists. Categories range from best in each category as well as Best of Show and the Award of Honor awards.

The show goes from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 8 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, June 9. The booths will be set up on Washington Ave. between Fifth and Lincoln in downtown Royal Oak.
