Crafting Fun with the Movie 'Inside Out'

As you might have noticed from our most recent project, I’m a big fan of Disney-Pixar’s latest film, Inside Out. That’s because it’s a movie everyone in our family has fallen in love with. While the movie is packed with so many laughable moments for both kids and grown-ups, it features valuable lessons moviegoers of all ages can benefit from. My nephews already have a plush version of their favorite characters (Anger and Sadness), so next on the list is a roundup for movie-inspired projects for them to enjoy. This week’s craft roundup is for them and all the Inside Out fanatics!

Inside Out Printables

While these printables have a holiday angle about them, they can be used for so many DIY needs, from turning them into stickers or cutting them out and adding them to a drawing or collage. Find the file to download over at Saving Said Simply.

Make a Jar of Joyful Memories

Who knew movie site Fandago offered craft projects?! Taking a cue from Joy and always having a positive outlook, the site has a how-to for transforming a mason jar into a holder for joyful memories.

Inside Out-Inspired Kids Craft

ABC Creative Learning is turning paper plates into the faces of your favorite characters from Inside Out. Take a look at this collection of decorated plates to see how to make your child’s favorite.

Printable Emotions Sorting Game

This printable game has to be my favorite! Mixing figurines and a downloadable file to print out, Mom Endeavors has a game that continues the lessons of the film for your children back at home.
