Rouge-A-Thlon at Rouge Park

This “duathlon” combines running and cycling to form one huge event that includes a 5K run, a 10K bike ride and a second 5K run – or a 10K run, 20K bike and a second 10K run – to the finish line. Proceeds support of Friends of Rouge Park. Registration required.

Ann Arbor Classic Bicycle Show and Swap Meet at Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds

Saturdays in the Park on Hines Drive in Westland

A six-mile stretch of Hines Drive is closed to traffic every Saturday this summer for walkers, skaters and bike riders to enjoy.

Metro Grand Spring Tour at Willow Metropark

This 36-year-old tour takes riders through Wayne County’s southwest side, near the Huron River and down country roads. Choose from 25-, 50-, 75- or 100-mile routes that are paved or gravel. Pre-registration required and a breakfast follows the rides.

Bike Ypsi Spring Bike Ride at Recreation Park

This annual offers a three-mile townie ride, a 15-mile leisure ride through the city and a 30-mile ride, which aims to challenge. Registration required.

Passport to Safety at Livonia Police Department

Kids ages 5-14 will learn how to stay safe while riding their bikes, learn first aid, be fitted for a bike helmet, and test their skills on the safety track.

2019 Michigan Tour de Cure at Belle Isle Park in Detroit

Tour De Troit Ride at Roosevelt Park
