Greater Farmington Founders Festival at Shiawassee Park

Swing by the annual Farmington Founders Festival July 18-21, 2019, for entertainment, family activities, a dog festival and more family-friendly fun.

The Greater Farmington Founders Festival is back, and your family can enjoy all of the great activities for kids and adults alike from July 18-21, 2019 at Shiawassee Park in downtown Farmington.

Kick off the fest at with a bunch of kid-friendly fun at the Family Fun Zone, presented by Community Choice Credit Union.

Here, kids can play on inflatables, enjoy live kid-friendly shows and even check out the special displays, which include Lego creations and STEAM experiences.

Also running the duration of the festival is the Vintage & Crafters Market Place, which is full of a variety of vintage decor, shabby chic designs, DIY items and more for sale.

Vendors change daily so you’re definitely going to want to swing by more than once.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. The Farmington Fido Festival is returning 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday with spectacular performances by the Ultimate Air Dogs and the Rock N Roll K9s.

You can also check out live concerts by Atomic Radio, Fifty Amp Fuse and the Killer Flamingos at 5 p.m. daily, compete in the 5k Farmington Founders Festival LOC Color Run on Saturday and even hit up the beer and bingo tents, if you’re 21 or older.

Admission to the festival is free, though some fees apply for some events and activities. Hours to the festival are as follows:

  • 7-11 p.m. Thursday
  • 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday
  • noon-5 p.m. Sunday
