Greek cuisine, Greek music and lots of evil eye merchandise – find all this and more at the Assumption Greek Fest at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in St. Clair Shores on Aug. 15-18, 2019.
The Macomb County church welcomes families of all backgrounds to party like a true Greek during its annual event.
Kiddies in attendance can enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo and other games. While your little ones run around, grab a seat and snack on spinach pie, souvlaki and saganaki – or grab a frappe with some loukoumades for a sweet treat.
Not sure what any of these foods are? This fest is the perfect time to try them!
Live music and dance performances take place through the festival. Shop at the marketplace for jewelry, icons, T-shirts and much more.
Admission is $2 and free for kids ages 12 and under.
Festival hours are as follows:
- Thursday: 4-10 p.m.
- Friday: 3-11 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
