Halloween Fun at Greenfield Village

A bit of fear (and tons of fun) await you and the kids as you meet the witches, goblins and Headless Horseman of turn-of-the-20th century lore! It's all at the annual 'Hallowe'en' Halloween event at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. The fun happens Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 14 till Oct. 30, 2011.

Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes and trick-or-treat at 11 themed treat stations. Hand carved jack-'o-lanterns (800 of them!) light the way as you encounter all kinds of creepy and curious characters. Parents and children will love exploring the entirely decorated village. This historic spot is known for its cool scenery and costumes, so you won't be disappointed. Definitely bring a camera!

Time slots are every 30 minutes from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday. Be sure to check in advance for availability.
