Kids in the Kitchen at Soul Café Event Hall in West Bloomfield

Join a junior cooking pro for kitchen demonstrations, food tastings and cooking conversations on June 3, 2018, to help support the Friendship Circle.

Wanna test your culinary prowess? Then go head-to-head with a junior kitchen ace at the Kids in the Kitchen event at Friendship Circle’s Soul Café Event Hall in West Bloomfield. It’s a must-see cooking event to support the Friendship Circle and the work that they do for kids with special needs.

This family-friendly event, which is set for Sunday, June 3, 2018, features cooking demonstrations by 13-year-old Sammy Vieder, who starred in this season’s MasterChef Junior.

Watch as he bakes, broils and fries some delicious eats for fans to try – and talks about his experience on the show. For those that feel like they can take the heat of the kitchen, Sammy offers fans a chance to challenge his cooking skills.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Friendship Circle, a nonprofit organization that aims to support those with special needs and provide them with recreational, social, educational and vocational opportunities.

Kids in the Kitchen kicks off at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Friendship Circle’s Soul Café Event Hall on Drake Road in West Bloomfield.

Advance registration is required and can be done on the Friendship Circle’s website. Tickets are $30 per person and include refreshments and food tastings.
