Make Your Own Comic Book Crafts

This past weekend your child’s favorite Marvel superheroes took over the Palace of Auburn Hills during Marvel Universe LIVE! From Captain America to Spider-Man, more than 25 characters wowed fans. Comic books and their lead characters tend to remain favorites with children as they grow up (just ask my husband). There’s probably a comic lover in all of us to this day. For those who love comics any time of year, this week’s roundup offers a collection of comic book crafts to try at home.

Batman Wall Art

The bat signal can always be “on” in your child’s room thanks to this idea from All Things Thrifty. Check out the post to see how to make other favorite icon symbols as wall art, too.

Wooden Superhero Letters

Continuing the theme of bedroom decorations, Sarah Yewman shows you how to transform wooden letters into a superhero collage. It doesn’t take much to make a big statement!

Free Printable Marvel Flatheads

Don’t let the French post throw you. Translate the page to English and download a free set of printable paper Marvel heroes from Paper Toy for your child to construct.

DIY Superhero Shoes

Your feet will want to yell “KAPOW!” when they’re wearing these hero shoes. Comic Con Family (who else would you expect to make such a cool project?!) shows you how.
