Enter Our Kids’ Halloween Costume Contest

Share your child's best 2020 Halloween costume in our online gallery for your chance to walk away with a Johnny the Skull Pirate's Cove Game by Goliath Toys.

Fall is officially here, which means it’s time for color tours, bonfires, apple orchards and of course, Halloween!

Every year around this time, the staff at Metro Parent gets buzzing about all the family fun to be had this season and Halloween — more specifically, the Halloween costumes — is definitely one of our favorites.

From pretty princesses to creepy clowns and cartoon characters to historical figures, kids here in metro Detroit and Ann Arbor tend to go all-out for this holiday, which is why we’ve decided to launch our new Halloween Costume Contest and Gallery!

Spread your child’s spooky spirit by sharing a photo of their 2020 Halloween costume, along with a note about what inspired it, in the gallery below through Nov. 4, 2020.

Return to the gallery to see what other ghoulish garbs local kids have dreamed up this year and don’t forget to share the gallery with your friends so that they can get in on the fun, too.

Oh, and don’t delay because one of the participants will walk away with a Johnny the Skull Pirates Cove Game, which will have them blasting ghosts for buried treasure, just in time for Halloween.

Good luck and happy haunting!
