Are you ready to have some fall fun with your tyke? Get in on some, Oct. 5-6 2019, at the annual MSU Farm Pumpkinfest in Novi.
This annual October festival features fall traditions like pumpkin picking, straw mazes and farm animals along with concerts, historical demonstrations, educational exhibits and kids activities all to support the educational programming that happens at the farm.
Kick off your day with a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. There, you will find gourds of all shapes and sizes. Take your time and pick out the perfect one to go home with you and your family.
After, take a stroll around the booths that are set up. There’s booths that feature a straw maze and pumpkin bowling; plus ones from local libraries and museums that’ll offer stories and hands-on activities.
Be sure to take a peek at some of this historical reenactments to learn how Michiganders of the past cooked their food and the other educational exhibits, too.
You’ll also get to hang out with some live farm animals and enjoy live musical performances throughout the fest, too.
Pumpkinfest happens at MSU Tollgate Farm in Novi from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5-6, 2019.
Admission to the festival is $5/person and free for kids 2 and under. Parking is free, some of the activities may have an additional charge.
