Has your teen or tween turned away from books for the allure of a movie theater screen? Entice their imaginations and bring them back to books with the National Teen Library Lock-In – which gets our props as an awesome teen event in southeast Michigan.
This annual nationwide event is celebrated by libraries all over the country –including a few in Macomb, Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw counties – and brings teens together for book-themed crafts, games and fun.
Here, find a list of five libraries in the area that are either celebrating the 2019 event on July 26 or are hosting cool teen library events leading up to the big day. Take a look and find a teen lock-in event near you.
