Every fall, families in southeast Michigan come together to celebrate the rich culture of Germany at a local Oktoberfest. At these events, families can enjoy traditional cuisine, Polka music and more.
Parktoberfest at Campus Martius Park
Sept. 9-10, 2023

Visit Detroit and Faygo have joined forces to offer two full days of Bavarian fun, including live music, games, seasonal beer and kid-friendly beverages.
Saline Main Street’s Oktoberfest
Sept. 15-16, 2023
- Address: South Ann Arbor Street, Saline
- Cost: $5-plus/21 and up, free/under 21
This annual event offers German food and drink, live entertainment, games for the kids and much more.
St. Joseph Oktoberfest at Joseph Shrine
Sept. 23-24, 2023
- Address: 1828 Jay St., Detroit
- Cost: Free/admission
This annual event boasts everything from authentic German food and beer to live Bavarian music, kids games, vendors, raffles and more.
Oktoberfest Run
Oct. 8, 2023
- Address: Downtown Royal Oak area
- Cost: $25-$35/kids fun run, $45-$55/short course, $50-$60/long course, $65-$75/double course
Runners of all ages choose from a short, long or double course. There’s a kids fun run for younger racers. Runners get an event medal, race swag and Bavarian food after their run.

Explore the work of 100 jury-selected fine artists. Plus, live entertainment, food, drinks and shopping.
