Outdoorama and Cottage & Lakefront Living Show in Novi

Stop by the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Feb. 27-March 1, 2020, for two concurrent expos that highlight the fun to be had living and playing in nature.

If Michigan’s dreary winters have you daydreaming about canoeing, fishing or just enjoying an adult beverage on your back porch, stop by the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Feb. 27-March 1, 2020 for Outdoorama and the Cottage & Lakefront Living Show.

The two events will run at the same time, so enjoy free crossover admission when you purchase admittance for one.

Outdoorama is back for a long weekend of informative seminars, contests and activities for outdoorsmen and women. Take a walk down memory lane with vintage boats and outboard motors, try your hand at the virtual fishing simulator or purchase fishing tackle made in Michigan.

Families can also stop by the dozens of booths at the event to get more outdoor gear or to learn about local hunting clubs and outdoorsman organizations. .

If you prefer to enjoy Michigan’s balmy summers from the comfort of your own backyard, stop by the Cottage and Lakefront Living Show to learn about vacation properties.

Check out seminars that highlight the benefits of lakefront living and educate about some ways to improve your experience, or stop by one of the many booths to pick up products to improve your vacation home or explore Michigan art and food with local sellers.

Take a load off at the Dock Party on Feb. 28 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for a performance by Cal Moultine and on Feb. 29 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for performances by Bobby Standal.

Tickets are priced at $12/adults, $5/ages 6-14 and free/under 5. Admission to one show gets you into the other and parking is $5. Event hours are as follows:

  • 1-9 p.m. Thursday
  • 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday
  • 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday
  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday
