Make a Gingerbread-style House at English Gardens

Spend a Saturday at one of English Gardens' five southeast Michigan locations for this workshop, which is part of its Super Sprouts club, on Dec. 8, 2018.

Whether your child already has a green thumb or you’re hoping to cultivate his or her gardening skills, the folks at English Gardens offer a unique opportunity to get kids pumped about planting all year long.

It’s called the Super Sprouts club, and aside from introducing gardening and nature to kids, it gives your family something creative to do together over the weekend.

The English Gardens Super Sprouts club is a once-a-month workshop offered for kids ages 2-12 – and on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, kids can get into the holiday spirit and make their very own gingerbread-style house.

The fun takes place at each of English Gardens’ five southeast Michigan locations: Clinton Township, Dearborn Heights, Eastpointe, Royal Oak and West Bloomfield.

The workshop, which begins at 11 a.m., is $5 to attend. All supplies, along with some inspiration, are provided. While employees will be on hand to help, parents are required to stick around to participate in the workshop, too.

Interested in taking this class? You must register in advance either online or at your local English Gardens store. Note: Registration is already closed in Clinton Township, Dearborn Heights, Eastpointe and Royal Oak
