Downtown Plymouth Fall Festival

When it comes to the best fairs and festivals in Michigan, the Plymouth Fall Festival is a classic. Find out what the 2019 edition has in store.

From Sept. 6 to 8, 2019, Plymouth will be hosting its annual Plymouth Fall Festival, full of fun rides and events for all attendees.

There will be plenty of entertainment all weekend long, including music, dancing and dogs.

Also all weekend long will be the rides and midway games, which open at 3 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday-Sunday.

This September festival kicks off at noon on Friday with the annual Plymouth Fall Festival Craft show, at which families can check out a variety of hand-crafted art on display and for sale, art and craft activities and much more.

The fun continues from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, with the annual Plymouth Taste Fest behind E.G. Nicks.

Sample a variety of flavors and dishes from local eaters for just $15 per adult ($20 at the door) and $10 per child. Kids under five are free.

From 7 a.m.-noon on Saturday, get your ticket to the pancake breakfast at The Gathering. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the door (children under 5 are free).

The pet show will commence at 9 a.m. Saturday. Judges will award titles to dogs, cats, and others based on size, tail length, ear length, hair length, best dressed, best tricks, most colorful and more.

Register that morning before the show to show off your pet.

There will also be an antique and classic car cruise on Main Street Saturday and Sunday. See all of the cool classic cars driving through town.

Finish off the festival with the Rotary BBQ, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at Kellogg Park.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door until it is sold out, so get your tickets early. Dinner includes half of a chicken, corn on the cob, a roll, a bottle of water and a cookie.

There’s great live musical performances and other entertainment, vendors and community booths and a big ol’ carnival, too.

Admission is free, though the midway ride wristbands run $25/person. Additional fees may apply for some events. Hours for the fest are as follows:

  • Friday: noon-10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
