If your little guy or girl has an artsy side, you’ve probably already figured out how much fun it can be to visit one of many local pottery studios. After all, from acrylics used in canvas painting to the messy clay used in ceramics, kids love the chance to pick out a project, get their hands dirty with paint and have their own work of art to bring home and display.
Fortunately for the budding artists of southeast Michigan, there are lots of local pottery studios with plenty of creative arts for kids (and the inspired adults in their lives, too).
Check out these places in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw and Livingston counties – and tell us in the comments which one is your favorite. Be sure to make your reservations in advance.
