Pride Events for Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor Families

Celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride at one of these 2023 Pride month events.

June is Pride Month, and metro Detroit and Ann Arbor families can celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community with a variety of events this summer. 

Here are some of our favorite happenings in metro Detroit, Ann Arbor and beyond for Pride 2023.

Family Pride! in the Park

June 1, 2023

This festival features a Pride flag ceremony, Zumba, family craft stations, vendors, DJ and local artists, yard games, giveaways and more.

Ypsi Pride 2023

June 2, 2023

Sport your rainbow gear and head to Depot Town Ypsilanti for the Pride event. There will be local vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly events and more.

Ferndale Pride 

June 3, 2023

  • Address: Downtown Ferndale area
  • Cost: Free

This festival celebrates the progress made by the LGBTQIA community through music, stage performances, vendors, a kids area, food trucks and more.

Boylesque PRIDE Drag Brunch

June 4, 2023

All ages are welcome to enjoy a drag show brunch hosted by Jadein Black and performances by special guests including multi-national title holder Erika Norell.

Zion Pride: Donation Based Yoga

June 4, 2023

Raise money for Ozone Health, a local mental health non-profit. Enjoy an all-levels yoga class, music, temporary tattoos and a mental health fair.

Motor City Pride Fest

June 10-11, 2023

Motor City Pride is known as Michigan’s largest pride celebration with more than 50,000 participants in the pride events. Festivalgoers gather here yearly to celebrate the LGBTQIA community. The parade portion will take place on Sunday.

Grosse Pointe Pride 2023

June 17, 2023

  • Address: Downtown Grosse Pointe
  • Cost: Free

Families can enjoy a walk around downtown Grosse Pointe for Pride-themed activities. There will also be music, selfie station, activism opportunities and more.

Pride in the Park

June 24, 2023

Formerly called “Rochester Pride,” this event features live music, vendors, guest speakers and a march through downtown Rochester. 

Pride Picnic

June 25, 2023

Join in on the fun celebrating Pride Month with Macomb County Pride. Make sure to bring your picnic lunch and blanket. They will offer yard games and music.
