Saline Community Fair at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds

Labor Day weekend is the time for community fun here in southeast Michigan, and the annual Saline Community Fair running Aug. 28-Sept. 1, 2019, is a must attend.

From Aug. 28-Sept. 1, 2019, Saline will be holding their annual Saline Community Fair – and there’s a ton of great family fun in store. Come check out the rides, the food and the activities.

There will be carnival rides and fair food all weekend, so be sure to swing by for both in addition to the other great daily events.

Wednesday is Inclusion Day. Those with special needs are invited to enjoy all the games and rides of the carnival in a safe and supportive environment.

The animal judging happens on Wednesday, too. So don’t forget to watch and see which ones take first place.

Thursday is Children’s Day and you’ll find great activities and deals for the kiddos.

The toddler ride specials will run noon-3 p.m. Thursday and there’s a Touch-a-Truck from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Also Thursday is a junior livestock auction, A2 magic and KOI drag racing.

Friday, check out the Princess and Guest Dance Party 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will also be a pie contest auction at 6:30 p.m. and a talent show at 6 p.m. Find lots of other events, too.

The weekend offers even more fun. Saturday tweens and teens enjoy STEM activities along with a foam dance party.

And on Sunday, there’s performance by the Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic, a car and tractor show, bicycle drawing and much more.

Then Monday, which is Labor Day, admission is free. There will only be a charge for rides, but at discounted prices. Be sure to head here for fun on at a bargain!

Admission runs $5-$7 for anyone ages 11 and up, depending on the day. Ride wristbands are $10/Monday and $18/all other days.

Hours are as follows:

  • 9 a.m.-midnight Wednesday-Sunday
  • 1-6 p.m. Monday
