Spot & Friends at Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit

Hey kids: Spot is on a mission and is going to need your help! Parents, mark your calendar for 4 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2015 and bring the family to Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit for Spot & Friends – a classic book brought to life in a new, fun and interactive way.

If you’re looking for Detroit kids attractions or shows in Detroit, Music Hall’s series of children’s theatrical productions is a great choice. In this installment, Spot introduces the audience to his father Sam and the family farm. But there’s one problem: The animals are all lost! Spot and pal Helen rely on audience participation to help find all the critters and bring them back.

Using large-scale handheld puppets, Theatre Terra from the Netherlands, known for productions like Frog and Little Donkey, presents this completely new book-to-stage show. These lovable, life-sized, fluffy stuffed animals provide a great opportunity to introduce young kids to the wonder of theater.

Since 1980, Eric Hill’s lift-the-flap classic Where’s Spot? has entertained children and adults alike. It’s now published in 60 languages in over 100 countries worldwide.

In 2015, this ranks high on the Music Hall Detroit schedule of shows for kids. It shows at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015. Running time is approximately one hour and recommended for ages 3-7.

Tickets are $15/kids, $25/adults or $50/family four packs. Visit one of our city’s unique Detroit theaters for a great family experience!
