They might be small but their friendship is huge. Grab your bestie and hop over to the Towsley Auditorium Jan. 25-27, 2018, for a stage show based on the adventures of Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters, Frog and Toad.
Frog and Toad by Wild Swan Theater is based on the classic assortment of children’s stories by beloved author and showcases the silly lives of Frog and Toad and they overcome obstacles, like learning to fly a kite and grow a garden – and grow as friends.
Excerpts from the books in each show include “Spring” from Frog and the Toad are Friends, “The Garden” from Frog and Toad Together, “The Kite” from Days with Frog and Toad, “The Surprise” from Frog and Toad All Year and others.
Each performance is performed by only three professional actors, run about 45 minutes and involve audience participation throughout.
Frog and Toad, presented by Wild Swan Theater, takes place at the Towsley Auditorium in the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College. Times are as follows:
- 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 (sold out)
- 10 a.m. (sold out) and 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26
- 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27
This performance is best for kids ages Pre-K to grade 2. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children. Lap passes are available for $3. Shows sell out very quickly so secure your seat today.
