Fruit Kiddy Cocktail Recipes from The Bird and The Bread

A little parents-only preamble here: Mixed beverages are pretty swanky, right? There’s something about a chilled fancy snifter or highball filled with a tasty adult beverage, shaken or stirred to perfection.

Now, switch over to the kiddos. Luckily, for the underage members of the family, there are awesome, entirely alcohol-free drinks you can whip up that preserve the colorful fun and cool glasses – but minus, of course, the booze!

For a few delicious, children-friendly recipes, we turned to The Bird and The Bread of Birmingham in Michigan. Run by local mom and restaurateur Kristin Jonna, this eatery serves up a fun, casual family atmosphere and delicious food – including inventive creations just for little ones.

Beverage director Steven Hildebrandt was nice enough to share these three special kiddy cocktails he created just for the under-21 set. Just mix up the fruity ingredients, add a bit of garnish and serve. Cheers, kids!
