Dyson Cordless Stick Vacuum

Dyson Cordless Stick Vacuum

I love vacuums. So much so that I have four. Now, before you go and judge the decadence of my domestic arsenal, keep in mind that most of us have more than we need of something – shoes, purses, etc. For me, it’s vacuums. My new favorite, the Dyson Cordless Stick Vacuum V6, is so friggin’ convenient that I just grab it, press the button on the handle and any little mess is sucked up in seconds. Plus, it easily converts into a shorter hand vac for counter spills or a longer vac to suck cobwebs. It retails for $299.99 at local Bank’s Vacuum Superstores. Be still my vacuum-loving heart.

My First Daily Calendar

My First Daily Calendar

I am obsessed with this calendar by Melissa and Doug. It is geared at ages 3-7 and details that day’s date, season, weather and the child’s mood and events. My family uses it daily. It is the first thing we discuss as soon as my daughters wake up. It has facilitated discussions about weather formation and clouds as they look outside the window to check the morning’s weather; from there, we decide what clothes and shoes to wear. This calendar is a staple in my household! Get your own for just $19.99.

Afton Street Clothing

Afton Street Clothing

With a color palette of black, grey, green and mustard yellow, Target’s Afton Street clothing line is edgier and stands out in a sea of bright colors and characters. Each garment is super soft and has very few graphics – if any – on it, which makes each one a perfect basic for any toddler’s wardrobe. Shop from long-sleeve Henley shirts, tank tops, short-sleeved T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts and other basics. Prices range $9.99-plus.

Lock Laces

Lock Laces

No more shoe-tying stress! If your kids hate tying their shoes or are a little behind on learning, the elastic no-tie shoelaces called Lock Laces are the ultimate find. They easily turn any lace-up shoes into slip-ons and come in a wide range of colors to match your kid’s favorite sneakers. Great for kids who struggle with fine motor skills! One size fits all. Get them for $7.99.
