Pinkalicious the Musical at Oakland University in Rochester

With an abundance of fun things to do in southeast Michigan, seeing a performance of Pinkalicious The Musical at Oakland University in Rochester is definitely one of the top events to add to your family’s event list!

For two days – Friday, May 15 and Sunday, May 17 – the Oakland University theater troupe will tell the tale of Pinkalicious, a little girl who just can’t stop eating pink cupcakes. Her parents warned her not to do it, but she ends up at the doctor with a case of Pinkititis, turning her pink all over!

Based on the popular children’s book by the same title, the on-stage musical version adds fun tunes to the story, which aims to teach about self-control and moderation, the theater group notes.

Tickets to the show are $10/general, $6/students and kids. The three performance times are as follows:

  • Friday: 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 2 p.m.
  • (Note: no Saturday performance)
