Simone Biles is Coming to Detroit This Fall

The most decorated gymnast in history is bringing her all-star gymnastics squad to the Little Caesars Arena to inspire the next generation of champions.

Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles is visiting Detroit this fall, and she’s bringing a team of all-star gymnasts with her! The Gold Over America Tour is coming to Little Caesars Arena on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, and the show promises to be an exhilarating experience for sports fans of all ages.

The Gold Over America Tour is more of an athletic dance performance than a typical gymnastics meet. The athletes will tumble, twist and flip their way through stunning choreography set to an upbeat pop soundtrack. 

 “This tour is not only about amazing performances but connecting with communities and building up the confidence of the next generation of athletes,” Biles said in a press release. 

Biles will be joined by 14 talented male and female athletes, including Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Fred Richard, Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Joscelyn Roberson, Katelyn Ohashi, Peng-Peng Lee, Mélanie Johanna De Jesus Dos Santos, Casimir Schmidt, Asher Hong, Hezly Rivera, Shane Wiskus and Yul Moldauer. 

Tips for visiting the Gold Over America Tour with kids

  • The show is just under two hours long, including an intermission break. 
  • Treat your aspiring gymnast to a premium experience they’ll never forget! VIP ticket holders enjoy great seats, VIP merchandise and more perks. For the ultimate experience, the Gold Squad Upgrade allows your child to join the gymnasts on the floor for the finale, snap a photo with Biles and the other gymnasts, attend a Q&A with members of the team and enjoy VIP treatment.

  • Eat before the event at Hockeytown Café. You can’t miss it — it has a huge hockey puck on top of the building. Enjoy Detroit-style pizza, coney dogs and more kid-friendly fare. 
  • Play at Campus Martius Park, the top public square in the nation. The park is a gathering place in the heart of downtown that offers many seasonal activities for both residents and visitors.
