A lot of these places have unique flavors if you’re feeling a bit adventurous or you can create your own pizza if you’re not.

Macomb

Buddy’s Pizza

Opened in 1946, it is the birthplace of Detroit-style pizza. The menu depends on location and also if they are a “full-service” or “carry-out only” location. Most offer Original Detroit-Style Pizza, classic pastas, sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads and starters.

Cloverleaf Bar & Restaurant

Cloverleaf began in 1946 and is also considered a birthplace of Detroit-style pizza using the owner’s mother’s recipe. They offer carryout and delivery locations in Chesterfield, Clawson, Grosse Pointe, Macomb, Roseville, Shelby Township, St. Clair Shores and Sterling Heights.

Green Lantern Pizza 👑 (Our Readers’ Favorite!)

This family-friendly pizza restaurant and bar has been around since 1955 and is one of the most popular late-night pizza places in metro Detroit. Jet’s Pizza

This American franchise was started in Sterling Heights in 1978 and has expanded all over the U.S. Their Detroit-style pizza is light and airy, with caramelized cheese and a crispy, golden crust. Don’t forget to add their Jet’s Bread and pizza sauce to your meal. You also might as well buy a bottle of their Ranch because it’s that good!

Little Caesars

  • Addresses: Multiple locations in Macomb County

This global pizza chain first began in 1959 in Garden City in Wayne County. It opened its first franchise in 1962 in Warren in Macomb County. It has since opened stores in all 50 states and 18 international markets. It is best known for its $5 Hot-N-Ready (now $5.55). It offers Detroit-style deep dish pizzas, pretzel crust with cheese sauce, calzones and brownies.

Sam’s Sorrento Pizza

  • Addresses: Locations in Clinton Township, Macomb Township, Mount Clemens, Pontiac, Shelby Township, St. Clair Shores, Utica and Washington Township

This pizza place is only in southeastern Michigan. It always has deals if you’re looking to get multiple items including pizza, wings, bread, salad, subs, pasta and pop. Participating locations even have a “Coney” pizza with chili, hot dogs, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, fresh onions and mustard.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill

Uno’s menu appeals to a diverse range of tastes, including those with dietary restrictions. The restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere for families to unwind and savor their meals. A small deep-dish pizza typically falls within the price range of $10 to $15, with larger portions designed for sharing. Antoniou’s Towne Square Pizza
