Good things are happening for metro Detroit families with immersive attractions, cool museum exhibits and more new things to do! How can you choose the best? It can be difficult to decide which attractions are worth the hype and which ones your family is better off skipping.

Jump around at Oakland Mall’s new massive bounce park

Metro Detroit families are in for a treat as FUNBOX, the world’s largest bounce park, sets up at Oakland Mall in Troy through July 7, 2024. Spanning 25,000 square feet, this outdoor bounce park features 10 exciting play areas including the Mountain Challenge and Obstacle Course. Kids of all ages will love it!

Ride an epic three-story go kart track at C.J. Barrymore’s

C.J. Barrymore recently opened their Indy SkyTrack, a thrilling go-kart attraction featuring a three-story, 30-foot-tall vortex and multiple loop-de-loops, providing an experience akin to a roller coaster at speeds up to 20 miles per hour. 

Soar into science with Michigan Science Center’s aerospace exhibit

Above and Beyond offers visitors a chance to explore the science of flight with cutting-edge flight simulators, immersive theater shows, touch displays and augmented reality experiences. You can find five galleries with interactive activities like riding a simulated space elevator or racing in a virtual high-speed jet. The exhibit is open through Sept. 8, 2024. 

Discover dino fossils at Museum of Natural History

The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History invites dinosaur enthusiasts to explore its latest exhibit, Dinosaur Discoveries: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas. This engaging exhibition unveils modern dinosaur science with fossils, computer simulations and life-like dino models. The traveling showcase from the American Museum of Natural History will be there through Sept. 15, 2024.

Explore Launch’s largest trampoline park in Michigan

Launch Family Entertainment has opened its newest and largest trampoline park in Dearborn. Kids can enjoy trampolines, bowling, laser tag, arcade, obstacle courses and more. There are even dining options available on-site with kid-friendly items.
